Kulturhavn Festival programme

Stay tuned for the 2020 programme!

In the meantime, you are welcome to go back and check out the 2019 festival map, and the 2019 English flyer with day by day recommendations.

Festival areas:

NORDHAVN - Between the red bricks and concrete silos of Århusgade district, music will flow from the flourishing local musical and theatre environment. Go for activities at sea level, or high up on the rooftop of Konditaget Lüders. Join a guided walk, discovering the transformation from industrial port to sustainable urban district, or follow the sound of the bass from the very tip of a pier.

REFSHALEEØEN - Refshaleøen is an urban playground among old shipping containers and rough buildings. It is a space for experiments, entrepreneurs, and creative souls. At Kulturhavn Festival, the area will be buzzing with urban street culture, dance, music, and art.

BØRNELANDET AT ARSENALØEN - Arsenaløen is turned into a children’s wonderland. A fun-filled space of play, music, breakdance, ballet, and quiet creative craftworks. Activities mainly target children aged 3-13 but anyone who is a child at heart is welcome.

ISLANDS BRYGGE - Music from distant corners of the world, colourful rhythms, dancing and singing make Islands Brygge’s promenade by the harbour pulsate with global culture. You can also pick up a few ideas about health and movement and take the chance to participate in paralympic sports.

BØLGEN - Bølgen is a space for you to hang out in the sun, drink in hand, to the sound of soft electronic tunes, watching Friday Night Skate rush by. It is also where a sauna aufguss session will warm you up and blue waters will cool you down. And feel free to try outdoor training in the water, on dry land, or even in the air.

TEGLHOLMEN AT SYDHAVNEN - Sydhavnen is thriving. New initiatives and local actors continue to pop up in the most southern part of the city. This is your chance to try out activities on floating rafts, let yourself get carried away by yoga, enter a water fight, do cup stacking, listen to concerts, and attend workshops on the topic of clean water.

Pop-Up locations in 2019:

HAVNEGADE BY THE INNER HARBOUR BRIDGE - Meeting point for cyclists to join the Bikepride parade.

BØRSKAJ - Experience Copenhagen from the water on a guided kayak tour.

BRYGHUSPLADSEN VED BLOX - Build using waste and become part of the sculpture exhibition.

NOKKEN - Painting with watercolours in local artist’s home.

FREDERIKSKAJ - Divers teach you about clean water in Teglværkshavnen.
