Transport to the festival site Teglholm Brygge

PUBLIC TRANSPORT

If you’re using public transport to get to Teglholm Brygge, you can:

Take the S-train to Sydhavn Station and walk the rest of the way to the festival site.



Take bus 7A to Scandiagade (Teglholmsgade)

HARBOUR BUS

During the festival, it’s free to sail with the harbour buses. Disembark at Teglholmen and walk the remaining distance to the festival site at Teglholm Brygge. There will be signs to guide you. 

Transport to the festival site Orientkaj

Address: Orientkaj st., 2150 Nordhavn

PUBLIC TRANSPORT

If you’re using public transport to get to Orientkaj st., you can:

Take the S-train or the bus to Nordhavn st. and walk the rest of the way to the festival site.

Take the metro to Orientkaj st., and you’ll arrive directly at the festival site.

HARBOUR BUS



During the festival, it’s free to sail with the harbour buses. Disembark at Orientkaj st. and step directly onto the festival site.

Parking

We recommend leaving your car behind when visiting Kulturhavn Festival. There are excellent opportunities to get around the festival areas using harbour buses, public transport, and bicycles. Please note that there won’t be any extra parking spaces during the festival, and the parking regulations in each area will apply.

On two wheels

Kulturhavn Festival offers a great chance to experience Copenhagen from the waterfront along the bike path Havneringen. Feel free to ride your bike to Kulturhavn’s events and park your bike near the festival site.

Disabled Parking

At Teglholm Brygge, you can find disabled parking at Teglholmsgade 10A

 

At Orientkaj st., you can find disabled parking at Parkering P-hus, Orientkaj Plads 2A.

What can I eat at Kulturhavn Festival?

At Kulturhavn’s festival sites at Teglholm Brygge and Orientkaj, ”Send flere krydderier” will provide exciting culinary experiences.

What can I drink at Kulturhavn Festival?

You can purchase both cold and hot beverages at the food stall and at the coffee vans.

Payment at the food stall and the coffee vans

The food stall and the coffee vans only accept mobilepay.

Can I bring my own food and drinks?

Kulturhavn Festival takes place in the open public space, so you are welcome to bring your own food and drinks.

But remember, there will be plenty of delicious street food available at the festival areas and the opportunity to buy beer, water, and coffee.

There will be toilets and easily accessible toilets at the festival sites of Kulturhavn at Teglholm Brygge and Orientkaj.

Responsibility

All participation in activities at Kulturhavn Festival is at your own risk.

Rules and safety for activities

Anyone participating in water activities at Kulturhavn Festival must be able to swim. According to the Nordic definition of swimming proficiency, this means being able to swim 200 meters without aid.



Always follow the instructions given by the instructors and take good care of each other while in the water.



Lifeguards will be present at all water-based activities during the festival.

SWIMMING ZONES

Find your way to the harbour’s swimming zones

Feel free to jump into the harbor and enjoy a refreshing swim, but remember to use the city’s designated swimming zones, which you can find at www.svoemkbh.kk.dk.



At Orientkaj, there will be temporary swimming and dipping zone, as well as a temporary water activity zone.



At Teglhom Brygge you can swim as per usual. For the occasion of the festival, we are expanding to include a water activity zone where you can do activities such as paddleboarding and climbing.

ACCESIBILITY

  • There will be chairs/benches available for resting at both festival sites.

     
  • Unfortunately, it will not be possible to access the water with a wheelchair.

     
  • At Orientkaj, there are stairs leading down to the dipping zone and the temporary swimming zone.

     
  • At Teglholm Brygge, you need to go down a bathing ladder to access the water.

     
  • Unfortunately, there will be no audio descriptions for activities at Kulturhavn Festival.

Ground surface at the locations

At Teglholm Brygge:



Teglholm Brygge is constructed of wood and designed to allow visitors to move around without encountering steep edges. The area surrounding Teglholm Brygge mainly consists of gravel paths and well-trimmed grass.



At Orientkaj:

Orientkaj Station has a ground surface made of concrete and asphalt. There are several level differences on the bike paths, approximately 10 cm in height. There is a crossover transition with level differences of 5 cm.

Get Help

We prioritize safety greatly. If you have an urgent need, you can approach the first aid attendants, crew, or volunteers present at the festival site. All crew and partners can be recognized by their white Kulturhavn Festival T-shirts. They can assist you directly or call for a supervisor if necessary. The first aid attendants are located at the safety tent on the festival grounds.

At the information booth, you can get answers to your questions. It can be found at the entrance of the festival sites.
