Kulturhavn Festival

KULTURHAVN FESTIVAL SAYS GOODBYE!

Thank you for 24 wonderful festivals over the years in the harbor. Kulturhavn Festival has always celebrated the city's associations, cultural creators and the Copenhagen Harbor, and its programme has shown how diverse and vibrant a city we share.

With culture at the forefront, Kulturhavn Festival has followed and pushed the harbor's rapid development since 2001. The harbor has always set the scene, and over the years, guests at Kulturhavn Festival have visited Islands Brygge, Fisketorvet, Kalvebod Brygge, Refshaleøen, Enghave Brygge, Arsenaløen, Papirøen, Ofelia Plads, Göteborg Plads, Operaen and most recently Teglholm Brygge and Orientkaj. The festival has invited Copenhageners to discover their harbor - and you have! The harbor is now more than ever full of life and culture.

Kulturhavn Festival has been funded by Kultur- og fritidsforvaltningen, Københavns Kommune since the beginning, but no budget has been allocated for the festival in the future, which is why Kulturhavn Festival 2024 was the last one.

Thank you for many good years with Kulturhavn - it has been a pleasure to see Copenhagen's cultural life flourish around the harbor and to follow all the good initiatives and ideas that have emerged from the festival.
